Hi all I'm wanting to purchase a tR1ke kit but I am wanting all the info on what I need to purchase ontop of kit+donor. I'm probably being a bit early in getting research as ill only be getting a house with a garage towards the end of the year!
But yea, what size wheels/tyres are you guys using?

I guess the 15's are better handling but does it make that much of a difference?

Often 15" wheels are lighter, than equivalent 16" size. This results in slightly less unsprung weight. Perhaps a sensitive racing driver will notice 15 versus 16 or 17". (I am no sensitive racing driver.)
For housing the front brakes you need 15" at minimum. Better is 16". In real life more important are the looks and that is personal.

I think the general opinion is that the pre-2002 engines have less wiring, they are carb'd and offer 150bhp.
2002/2003 engines (like mine) are fuel injected but still 150bhp.
After 2003 the Fuel injected engines had 170bhp when fitted in the bikes.
I am not a biker but from what I have read people like the power delivery on the carb'd models & any tuning is done via re jetting etc, Rather than power commander and re map.
