Hi all,
New to the Forum so hello to one and all... I'm very interested in the Sonic7 and Rocket and was just wondering what the handling and drive was like. I'm wondering what to spend some money on but was interested in people's views on the handling side of the kits? Do they handle well? I'm as much interested in cruising as well as round corners so any views would be most appreciated. I've seen other manufacturers set ups and they seem quite complex where as this set up seems like less is more! I'm betting it's better than most... Only way is having a drive myself I suppose... Thanks all....

Best suggestion on this, and an un-bias answer.. Get down to the moggers AMM or a track day. Ask nicely, and I'm sure you will get a passenger experience. Last year, there was a total kit car event at Blyton park. Anybody looking at buying a kit car could experience hot laps around the track. I'm bound to say the rocket handles nice, however, I've never driven a Sonic, I imagine the weight distribution is similar, but other than that, I wouldn't be able to answer.

Hi Mate
I have a sonic 7 and it's a lot of fun. I haven't had it on a track yet but the handling on the road is like a go-cart. I hope to go to the moggers AMM this year so you could go for a spin if you like.

Thanks for that, have to get myself down to a meet then.. Go-cart style sounds good to me, what's it like on a motorway?... Cheers....

I might be at the AMM too so can give you a ride in the rocket and you can compare a standard 1.8 setup with the 2.0 and modified rockets.
Been to europe in it and on the motorway its very stable except over 100mph. I suspect the sonic will offer better wind protection on the motorway.

Hi Mate
As Bob says its very stable on the motorway. I use a helmet when on the motorway for better wind protection and stones.
Cheers Andy

Hi Mate
Where about are you. There may be someone close to you that would take you for a spin. If you are close to me in Glasgow we are more than welcome to come over.

I'm knocking on the door of 150mph ATM, and it's stable. I have a few downforce additions. Soon to be smashing that record lol.
