Using 125cc motor cycle wheels and a double stacked 3 phase motor this time, disc brakes all round, Lithium Yttrium cells and 2 seats in tandem, should stop and go rather well I hope. What happend to all those Etrike builders, anyone made any progress?

Just a little video of a basic way to set up the steering on trikes. I now have a 72v 350a Sevcon Gen4 controller for sale for £350 including set up software, dongle, interface and instructions. Bargain!!

can we already buy the new plan sets? Is it possible to use the same wheels on the MK1?

So, I like the bigger wheels, the speed and the possibility of carrying a passenger if needed. Nice motor for getting to work etc in Bristol - 10-15 mile round trip max - saves me £20 per week in petrol etc. I use an electric push bike at the moment (wearea2b.com) and get 'unrestricted' - 23mph if I'm lucky.
I often thought that you could use one of the aluminiun square truss sections as a ready build chassis.... but then started reading stuart's book, to find why aluminium is not favoured....
I hope this one goes to the plans stage - it's the reverse etrike format that interests me - but I would be challenged/fail working out all the suspension angles etc

Nice to see you're still working on this project Stuart. I'd really like the plans to this new e-trike - bigger wheels, power, brakes, less weight - sounds good. The suspension geometry would be beyond me though - hence the desire for plans. What is the difference between the plans you originally made for the e-trike and this newer version? Cheers Ross

Stuart, on the main Etrike page the plans were 20 pounds back in 2012. So what is the cost now? And in US$'s? And is the link to your PayPal account still good?
