What Bhp does it have? How much does it cost? I'm thinking of doing this also thx 180 at the moment. The same setup on my mx5 was 228. So it's making a lot less. i will get it back over 200 by putting the engine out of the mx5 in the exocet. Instead of swapping the whole lot over I just supercharged a working exocet which had a mk1 1.8 engine in it. In my mx5 I had the better flowing mk2 1.8 engine, and a 2.5 inch exhaust. looking at the exocet, the chap who built it has had what can only be described as a pea shooter exhaust system put on, it's at most a inch and a half and very restrictive. My aim is to swap the engine in the spring and get a decent flowing exhaust fabricated up for it to get it to the naughty side of 200 again. Im interested to know if Madda recommends the corner weighting to ensure it puts the power down. I've seen a video of his but I'm not aware of the spec of his? Can someone shed some light on that please?
