I know the Eco-Exo is still a work in progress, but do you have the rough dimensions for it, especially the length and width. I am keen to know how much room I need to make in the garage for it.

Any news on when this will be available to buy? I am keen on this, but would like some idea of how soon I need to get cash together, garage space sorted, etc.

Hi Fer, sorry about the delay replying, it's gone mad here. We have a very busy workshop turning out Sonic's and the order book is growing every day. We sold four last week alone. This is our bread and butter car and is where we concentrate our main efforts. Due to this demand and us increasing production I am afraid to say that I cannot spend any more time on the ECO-EXO. We had a brilliant response to it at Stoneleigh, it would definately sell. Most potential customers were looking at the cheaper 125cc Chinese scooter options. No reason why not. So where do we go from here? I will sell the project. £5000 thats all plus £50 royalty payment for each sale, 2 moulds, all the tech back up required to ensure it goes into production and my prototype is also included. Very cheap as you can see, the prototype has to be worth £5000 on its own. I will just be happy to make sure all the design work I put into it does not go to waste. Any one interested in getting in to kit car manufacturing at a very small outlay? Low cost transport has to be the future but I cannot do everything. Please contact me. Regards Stiggy

Well, that seems to have ended this thread.
I hope somebody out there can take it on because I would love to have one. I have got the plans for the E-trike, but it is going to cost too much for the range I would need. This, however would be ideal.
Cheers Dave

Delighted to report that several people have stepped forward and expressed an interest in taking the project to market. I will share good news at the end of the next week. Obviously I will ensure that it goes to a good home with the capability to make this happen with an eye on quality/value. Stiggy

Dave, I am in the same place. I have the plans for the etrike, but the battery costs would not work for a 35 mile range, and if the weather makes it cold then the range is even less.
I am hoping that someone picks up the Exo-trike soon, failing that we should have a whip round and start a trike collective.

Regards Stiggy I know this post is 4 years old but reading this and then considering recent delivery delays; add to that my order of almost 2 weeks ago that has gone completely ignored. I'm wondering if, busy with more successful kits, the Eco-Exo has become even less of a priority and perhaps more of a nuisance to Stuart.

Hi Unclemark, Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Scott Turner, part owner of Eco-Exo Trikes here in the uk, We purchased the kit project from MEV back in 2010, and are the manufacturer of all Eco-Exo trikes, www.eco-exo.com - I can assure you this is our priority but we do operate as a part time business with all kits built to order, you are correct we have had a short delay recently due to our tube bender supplier's machine breaking down, but this has been sorted and we are getting back on track, I have been following your posts closely and it's great that you are excited to take on the Eco-Exo as a project, I'm sure you are aware we work with Kevin from Exomotive as a dealer in the US, I presume this is where the order has been placed? If so I'm sure Kevin will following this up with you shortly, Regards Scott

Oh Ok. I was confused. I found it hard to understand exactly who is who. Both eco-exo.com and exomotive.com show the Eco-Exo as a MEV branded product. I assumed Stuart was still making them. Thanks for the explanation.
I'm I right in thinking that in 2010 a partnership was formed to buy the Eco-Exo from MEV. Based on Stuarts offer to sell outlined in his post. And that this partnership now produces them independently from MEV?

Yes the partnership, is me, my dad Stuart and family friend Paul, we previously built and number of kit cars, and we built 2 of MEVs Rocket, that how we got to know Stuart Mills, and when the Eco-Exo project came up we decided this would be a interesting project to take on,
They are MEV branded as that's is where the original design came from, we own the sole build rights under licence from MEV,
Cheers Scott
