If you lay the radiator backwards with a rake of roughly 10 or 15 degrees there are two advantages. 1. The top pin fits inside the frame/side panel & 2. The radiator has more clearance from the steering column on the offside I'm using a straight pipe to simulate my column as I still haven't got the lower part of the column fully sorted yet.
Rugby was good - a 41-0 victory away from home.

Remember Me?
The past 16 months have been a particularly difficult time. When I got home with the kit from RTR I received a phone call from my employer in Brazil that I was out of work. I was just carrying the chassis into the garage when the phone rang!
I persevered with the kit build until it became obvious that the chances of more work as I was used to were slim, and so took the decision to stop all activity that involve outgoing funds. The easiest way for that was for me to keep my head down.
It took until September '14 to get a job with my (seemingly un-transferable) qualifications. I have recovered some of my funds now (following a year out of work with absolutely no money coming in) but no longer have the luxury of long periods at home on leave to do the work in, so future progress will be a lot slower. I am also working away from my home so week nights are out of the picture too. I haven't resumed the kit yet but I have resumed some serious thinking about it!

Guys, I have recently waved the white flag and opted to sell on the project to someone on Orkney. Hopefully he'll make better progress than I did. It was great fun whilst I was doing it. Good luck to Jake with the build.
