Hi to you all. I'm in Cairns Qld where I have lived since leaving England in 2001. Great place to live, even better when we beat the Australians at cricket or rugby! I recently became interested in the MEV Sonic 7. I want a "7" and was looking at the endless copies of the theme when I saw the Sonic. A really modern take on the concept and it looks fantastic. Has anyone previously brought a Sonic to Aus? Does anyone know if the vehicle can be complied to meet ADR's (Australian design rules)? If this was possible I would be very interested in buying a kit. Cheers, SIMMO

Hi down under, we have not sold a Sonic to your part of the world yet but we do have a Rocket in Aus undergoing testing to meet your very stringent chassis strength requirememnets. There are no road legal Ariel Atoms in Aus as they do not meet the required standard but we are delighted to report that thanx to the efforts of our friend in Perth the Rocket gets the thumbs up. He has had it on a test rig. No reason why the Sonic chassis can not be done the same. So you could be the first. Look forward to hearing from you, regards Stiggy
