hi im chris, im based in south east london and my hobby (which is now taking second place to this) is radio controlled cars...
I have been in the RC hobby for 4 years or so, and started raceing nitro powerd buggys, then went electric and messed around with them for a bit, then went on to design a 163mph rocket car (land speed record ) and now im makeing a 1/10th scale F1 car to break a record in a different class electric powerd, aiming for 100mph...
the 1:1 car side of things, im a complete newbie... i have a 1990 mini city british racing green edition, which im restoring due to finish this year which i got for christmas
i want to go onto engineering at warwick university (automotive engineering, or race engineering) but my dream job is to race cars proffesionally, but i know thats hard to do...
obviously, i cant race an austin mini with a 998cc engine very competitivly, next year i plan on building a kit car.I was looking at the atomic, mainly because of the price and because of this...
its my mid engined single seat design i done a a month or 2 ago when i was contemplating designing my own... except that is with a hayabusa angine, and a wheelbase of rounghly the original mini...
if that link doesnt work, its the top images on:
www.white-nova.blogspot.com/
bearing in mind i have done 2 more chassis after that one, but havent botherd uploading them... if you want to see the next stage of the designs, just say and i can post them here
gracias
chris
