Also, b and q sell 5mm threaded stud 1m long, cut to size and tig wild/double lock a nut to make your missing piece.

It won't be 12.8 graded lol... But it will do it.

Noticed a couple of people coming to watch anyone wanting a scary passenger ride I will try to help. Went out single a few times last year so am willing to give a passenger ride to all that have paid. The rockets red n green nice quiet colours come and say hello and ask

Im up for a ride in anything.. lol.. id like to experience how these cars are driven by experienced drivers. ( ill be bringing my helmet.

Plus.. im handy for holding the data logger

For the record, if my car was on the road, rain or shine, id be there. Id love a wet trackday to push the learning curve that bit further..

I am pretty sure you are not allowed to hold anything whilst a passenger, but by all means check with Nigel :-)

Good job it has a go pro style screw mounting then if required

Thanks Venom, no loose items in the car and no hand held camera's or alike, be it driver or passenger that's doing the holding.

No particular special mounts required, please use common sense don't want a track full of camera bits.

I'll be using 2 or 3 GoPro Hero 2's mixture of helmet mount, suction mount and a log arm magic clamp mount. Helmet mount is one of my favourite Joker used to great effect last year see his youtube video here:-

Suction mount is a must for cars like the Replicar, and a long arm magic clamp is great for those weird and wonderful shots. Tethers are not compulsory but recommended better to have the camera daggling from a cord than bouncing down the track.

If I'm not out on circuit and your head fits then your welcome to use my lid with the camera mounted to get some footage of your experience.

Due to some issues this weekend, mainly gearing issues, I will not be coming down camping Friday, but will be trackside Saturday morning. What time does racing start?

nick - 9.10 signing on, then 9.30 driver briefing. So the non-competitive driving around the course will be sometime after that - I guess around 10.00  (it's all in the guidelines / rules thread).

bob - experienced has many different connotations.....if it just means "old" then I may do!! And I can't believe you'll manage to stay on the blackstuff!! 

Can't wait now.....got the suncream ready too :-)

I'm going to be there around 9am all being well Saturday. Weather looks good so far, it reckons 25 degrees most of the day.....
