Well people have had long enough to book, I booked months ago, took the risk on the weather, so why should someone who hasn't pay the same? Less people means more time on track for me Anyway Steve your only spectating so its free for you, shame you couldn't bring your car, even if it was trailered, would of loved to see that going round the Circuit. nigel

Ta.. I got let down for a trailer, and the Dee vee hell ay managed to drive the final nail in the coffin for the cars attendance.
Id of been daft to pay in advance, with so many variables. If by miracles I get my reg, it will be there, but not go round the track.
Ill still be there though, and bringing the innovate lm2 wide band logger as mentioned earlier. It would be good to get out as a passenger in a few cars to experience a run in finished product.

I have to say my DVLA experience was good mind you I did deal with a very nice young lady that had the week earlier been on a course learning how to register imported/kit type vehicles, so she was very keen to put what she leant into practice - lucky me. Full details of my fun:- www.mevsonic7.co.uk/SVA-DVLA.htmlI'm sure you'll be able to get a ride, but it's going to cost you a £10 to get on the track as a passenger. nigel

Less people means more time on track for me nigel You've bitterly disillusioned me Nigel - I had assumed (obviously incorrectly...!) that the glorious weather at all the AMMs was pre-booked by you! Hmmmm.......maybe I won't be so quick to sign up in future Seriously though, I agree......if there is no advantage in pre-booking, then everyone would wait and see on the day, and clearly the event just couldn't take place on that basis. May I point out that the idea of AMM was Nigels, he found the track, booked it, paid for it, marketed it and does not made a single penny. It is priced to ensure that no profit is made. He does so as a long term dedicated member and MEV fanatic. He does not even get out on track, I only ever remember him spending time either marshaling or filming so he can produce and edit fantastic videos of the weekend for us all to enjoy. Naturally people will want to check the weather before committing £40, this is understandable, but it is booked to be great now so there are not many excuses left. This the cheapest track day I have ever heard of and now includes an auto-trial and free camping for 2 nights. There are still places left, the weather is booked. This sounds like a sales pitch but actually we are just trying to get people to come and drive MEV's in a manner for which they were designed. Nigel you are a real star, I salute you mate. Looking forward to seeing all those MEVs on track next week.

Can we all remember, it's just a fun day, no pressure to impress, just enjoy the experience with like minded people. The more the merrier, you've spent a long time building it so don't wish to brake it, hopefully like me you've enjoyed the build experience and the enormous satisfaction that, that brings, so come along for the day and play, the choice is all yours. nigel (PS:- look forward as always to seeing you bob)

2 days camping, a day on track and a good knees up for 60 quid is a complete bargain Nick has offered to take me as a passenger in the trike. A Tenner is another complete steal. I'll hopefully be there
