Preparation for new build

Hi all

Just finishing off a rocket build with my dad and starting to think of my own build. I'm wanting to do a tr1ke so looking at starting to buy parts in advance. What exactly do you need from the r1. Space at my build location is limited so buying a full bike and storing parts might be an issue. Is there a build manual for this kit. When I look I can't see one with the rest of them.

better to buy the bike and break it before you get the kit. you need engine swing arm rear wheel and brake ecu and loom. dont think there is a build manual, everyone just relies on the forum, but most of it is fairly straight forward.Managed to build mine in two months, and I had complications due to using a very late model R1 (2007). I think rtr are now saying not to use that model.

Thanks for the replies guys. Best get looking for a cheap r1 then. Looking for a carb'd one as I know these well as put one in a Mk Indy a few years back. Easy to work with.
