Is the bottom ball joint bolt a 2 1/2" x ½” UNF bolt that is threaded all the way?
I got some with a 1" long shoulder so that did not seen correct.
Also what kind of bolt did you use Scott as it looks different in the latest pictures you took.
Thanks for any help on this

Hi Ed,
Yes it's 1/2" UNF - shouldered is better if you can get it the right length if not full threaded will be fine,,,
Cheers Scott

I guess I am confused?
The arm thickness is about .185"
I would need a shoulder less than that thickness otherwise I could not tighten the nut after inserting the bolt through the arm?
Is the inner nut a larger diameter and only used as a spacer?
If so what size is it?
Also what are you using on the orange trike at this time Size, length shoulder length and where can I find them?

Sorry got mixed up, yes 1/2" UNF full threaded, fit it though the upright and fit normal nut and tighten, this tightens up the upright and also acts as a spacer to allow sufficient travel on the joint,
Hope that makes sense

Great, that is what I thought. I got a lot of bolts from Kevin but somehow the ones I got had a shoulder on them.
Well another problem solved.
Thanks.
