Hi all My name is Neil, based near Taunton in Somerset. Been promising myself to build a kit car of some description for years, kids are grown up, 1st grandchild is due next week so figure it really is time I got started! Fancied the idea of a scratch build, looked at Locosts ets but a bit too many around, I want something a bit more individual. Saw MEVs E-trike and fell in love, but as I am 15 miles of fast a roads from anywhere I am not sure the electric option is that viable for me, so I plan to stick a big single bike engine in it. Figure at 6 inches off the ground even 70-80 is going to feel scary fast! Got the plan and think I have sourced and engine, so should start the build in the next month or so, wil let you all know how it goes

Hi Neil, Great to have you on board, seems to me like you could be a potential customer for the all new MEV ECO-EXO "burger van" kit that Stuart is working on Check out the 'Coming Soon' thread under 'Any Other Vehicle' on the Forum and then drop Stuart an email or PM. nigel

Hello Neil
Good to see another MEV owner down south, there is a smattering of Rockets and Sockets in Swindon, Wilts and Andy has a fine example of a rocket in build in Street, not to far from you.
Look forward to meeting you in Stonleigh
Cheers

Thanks to you all for the welcome , I am certainly looking forward to seeing the new burger van, sounds very promising. Baby granddaughter arrived yesterday, so race is on to get something built and on the road before she is old enough to drive!

My 660 engine would use different engine mounts to the Suzuki Burgman Neil, just something to consider if you go down the route of Stuart's new design.

Cheers, think the burger van engine is pretty flat too, cylinder is horizontal rather than vertical. Will have to look at the new design when it is out
