Wondered if anybody could recommend some replacement rear pads for my focus calipers on my rocket, don't mind paying a bit extra for some better one's if they are worth it, mainly using them for road use, the Greenstuff one's seem to be popular wondered if anybody as tried them? Any help appreciated Thanks John.

I have the green stuff pads they seem to do the job. I know some people don't rate them but my knowledge of what is good and bad will have to be learned by how I think they feel under braking.
Mintex seem to be a popular brand but I found it hard to get them and they are the same price as the green stuff pads. I'm looking to upgrade to the HiSpek rear brakes anyway so didn't want to spend too much, just as long as they were safe.

Would you be interested in a set of new green stuff pads for hispec rears Ned? I have a set brand new which I don't thing im going to use. I used to use bendix on my race bikes for dry and they were outstanding, im going to see what they have to offer.

Hello Bossman, I have a new set of Red Box Mintex pads for Mk.1 Focus rear calipers, still in the box. Genuine reason for sale. PM me. How about £16.00 delivered that's if you live in the UK. Regards, Les.

I replaced the stock Ford pads on my Puma with Mintex 1144 fast-road pads and I've been really happy with the difference. I later added drilled and grooved discs, more for the look than performance, as aside from (anecdotally) corroding when sat idle quicker( 10 days in the drive and they're orange, a few hard stops and they're shiny again) than my stock discs I'm very happy with the setup. Fleabay is a bit scummy, but this guy (in Ireland) myworld.ebay.ie/cash_and_carry_auto_parts was good.

Mintex 1144's are a popular choice for the rear of the Rocket or a Sonic 7 if you are using Ford calipers.
