Thanks Scott,
As you know I picked up the kit Thursday before last. I can hardly believe I'm just a few components away from the first test drive! All i need is a steering wheel adapter, a few specialty bolts, run the coolant lines, mount and connect the fuel tank and then a few hours wiring and I can drive it! So much fun I'm going to build it once tear it back down, paint it and build it again!
Seriously speaking the design of the vehicle is such that everything is just so easy to work on this thing could be built in a few weekends if your really a good builder. So far the tool i couldn't live without would be the large bench vise nothing else special beyond that save for the brake flaring tool which can be rented for $25 from Fed Hill. I used 12ft of Cunifer brake line SAE double flair with 3/16 line and two asian nuts. My total for the custom fitted hard brake line around 60 US
