Is your test confirmed yet.. are you coming up on the morning of the test or the night before? If your coming the night before you are more than welcome to park the trailer on my drive rather than leaving it in a hotel car park. I have locking pop up posts on my drive so the trailer wouldn't be removable with them up. I might be able to get down to the test centre as well, as it would be handy to see a test being done.

That is a very generous offer but my towing co-driver and I are planning to leave at 1:30am to ensure we get there by 8am. So I must decline your pop up posts on this occasion.
The test is confirmed for 11 June. I don't know what they allow in the way of spectators but if they do have an MOT-style viewing gallery, you are more than welcome.
I had always planned on a private, discrete test in case of any embarrassing failures but now that I've been "outed", there are a few other things I can get off my chest.... or maybe not.

I'm sure your car will pass 1st time. I've always found the inspectors at Southampton very helpful when I've popped in to ask questions and one of them is helping his son build a kitcar so they are kit car fans.

Nice, well done…Made the journey worth the effort.. Hope I get the same tester … he appeared very helpful. Did he mention anything that he particularly liked ?
