Check Ebay Paul.
There are literally hundreds on there, any size you want and most include postage. That's were I got mine.
I don't have any other pics of steering column unfortunately. I covered it in trunking anyway so that there was no snagging hazard for the IVA.

not much done this week which im a little disapointed about as i was hoping to make it to powder on friday but that wont happen now. mounted the rad now and cut the firewall and bulkhead, started the sides but the gas ran out on the mig. done loads of drilling and tapping mind.. well boring, lol. but will be better than rivets. hope to do more in my next week off..

sat thinking about the suspension, my mind flicked to the crush tubes, the state the steel was in etc. so i grooved it with the 1mm disc, then got kai to rub them up with the scotchbrite disc, then on the polishing mop. the groove is now very smooth and should just transfer a little grease along it to underneath the polybush, just incase of rotation and squeaking. the bracket next to the tube is just showing what the tubes surface looked like before. (i had finished them all before i took a pic)

Just be careful what grease you use as some poly' materials will not tollerate petroleum based greases. You should check with the manufacturer or only use any lubricant supplied with the bushes.

ok, with the power im after i was wanting something a little stronger in the motor, i cant really stretch to about £800 for forged kit so i went half way. I have gone for ST170 pistons and rods, they are sinter forged, which is the middle ground really. they have a valve pocket machined out of the piston crowns for extreme cams if required. the rods are quite strange, they forge the complete rod, then split it for the big end. i wasn't too sure on this so had to do some research as i thought they were broken. i weighed the assemblies ready to balance them and was a bit worried about one of them.. more research required.. weights painted onto the crowns..

Yesterday was spent up to my elbows in degreaser or in the kero parts cleaner. i have chemical burns all over my hands and arms. marigolds juat are not enough..lol but a lot of heavy degreasing done now, so its just about ready for vapour blasting and powder. today i did a little fibreglassing to fill the big holes on the reynard and tried to get a little shape in it. Its a good job i like the nostalgia idea because the unit is a bag of $hit up close like all race machines.. lol
