So, I got the fan on today, mounted with the through radiator mounting pin kit. A good idea on a product made in the last few years of new materials, not so great in a 20- odd year old new-old stock copper item. just pushing through the pins broke a few fins out of the back. proves ill need a nice alloy one in time to come. I just hope the core is ok. if its watertight, then im happy with how it is.

Next is the fuelling. This has been a few days backwards and forwards to Mendahose for rectifying things to how I want them. AT THIS POINT I AM GOING TO SAY THAT THEY ARE A MINT COMPANY, AND I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE WHO NEEDS ANYTHING LIKE THIS MAKING TO USE THEM. Anyway, after a lot of messing and a lot of discussions with the guys there and a lot of trial and error there on the bench... we ended up with this. in the kitchen.. in the car I also found my air tank which was lost for 3 months and driller out the valve, ready to accept fittings..

Looking at the pics, id personally run the pump direct to the pot, and then the filter on the outlet of pump to injectors. It may catch anything that lets go in the pump ( if it does ). Are you going to run a high pressure filter after the pump?
plus, doing it that way may help with hose layouts:)

Too late now mate, the pump has integral gauze on output. Hopefully that will hold any parts of destruction trying to get to the rail.

In all the years ive messed with motors, its never happened lol.. Plus, your injectors should have a gauze in each one of them.
Im surprised how much crap gets into a rocket fuel tank anyway, the sealer used on the tank sender reacts with the petrol when the loose bits are squeezed out, and you have floating silicone peas in your fuel.
grrrr..

I don't have a ridiculous hole in the top of mine, and not a drop of silicone in sight. :-)

Small job, but the floor was laid out, a thin bead of bathroom silicone to create a rubber gasket. Then 150-odd m4 button heads loctited in. Then dressed around the chassis tubes and silicone seal the gaps. Job done. :-)

And..
You've JUST put the floor on?
