Paul, Go see an engraver to get that number engraved professionally (read neat) then fill it with contrasting paint.
Now it's a feature not an afterthought, looks like it's meant to be there.
Few dollars yes, no you wont love it but I reckon at least you wont hate it.

managed to do a couple of hours on friday and got the old school mini handbrake fitted, nice and compact. I mounted the pulleys on m4 bolts initially, that didnt go too well as soon as i pulled it onto tension. well i have a working handbrake now, switch bracket mounted underneath.

As the Rocket thread with the third highest views after Mabbs and Mark's I feel it is my duty to get it back on page one of updated threads rather than a lowly page four Seriously - it looks like you are going to fit your front panels in the chassis tube centres rather than on the inside, am I right? I know jack tried this but gave it away, what's your approach to the problems associated with it? Of course I could be wrong - it happens now and then

was back on with electrics on saturday so not much to report to be honest. apart from my hazards dont flash fast enough for some reason. all lights working on stalk mod nicely. all wires have extra length as its a retro fit for obvious possible mods after the white coats test it.

Paul, don't you just love working on the electric's and working and working and working. I spend 10 hours today doing the same thing and I swear I saw some daylight way way out in the distance. Your build is looking great! Just keep plugging along.

So, lights completed yesterday. Flash and fogs now going on switches to make life easier. Engine loom next week, some panels and re-do the Cooling and stand the Rad more upright. Should be big updates and pics next week.. Also need to check the clutch movement, don't seem to have a proper movement. I'm thinking master Hopefully

Well not as productive as I wished. I've had to take a step back. Need to remove the front bulk. Needs painting before I can finish wires or it will be even more of a pain in the backside. Oh well.
