The fact is the webcon spec is 75L/H at 3.5 bar, whilst the Walbro at 255L/H is a free flow rate so not a like for like comparison. My bad, and lazy iphone pdf viewing, you are correct, it is approx 132 litres per hour. Also, interesting comparison done here between them all, with suprising results :- realstreetperformance.com/store/pages/fuel-pump-comparison-test-5.htmlAnd, agreed, 044 pump would be overkill for a stock rocket, due to complexity. However, i would have the arrangement on show.. (after iva of course). You cant beat a nice swirl assembly in the boot of a Mk1/2 escort etc...It shows attention to detail and provides bragging rights.

Here are some pitures of my wiring, I hope it helps. If anything is unclear (I'm sure most of it is lol) just ask and I'll try clear it up Fuse/Relay board: Cable thicknesses: I have the battery in the back so I have run a thick ground to the front and also a slightly smaller power for the lights etc. Probably overkill but better safe than sorry Wires connecting to fuse board and dash: End of cable (rear of car): can you show me where that is mounted in the car please naim? im trying to decide on locations

Gents,
I have put Emerald fuel injection on my Lotus Elan. This is how I covered the fuel.
A NEW tank made by Axminster panels, this had a build in swirl pot and -6 outlet and return.
Fuel line on the outlet to gravity feed the 044.They are push type pumps but do create a bit of suction. I have a filter BEFORE the pump (very important) and after. The pump feeds direct to the fuel rail with another filter in line to protect the injectors. I have an FSE adjustable fuel pressure, power boost valve to control fuel pressure and pulsing in the rail with the outlet going direct to tank return.
This is a fairly simple solution with NO external swirl tank. The reason for the extra tank is to ensure a constant supply to the high pressure 044 pump.
If I were to do it again, I would fit an INTANK XJS v12 pump with lines and filters as above.reason is it is good for 300bhp and a little more.not to mention a lot lower cost.

So, i will happily admit that im pretty much copying the electrics from the pictures above for now. as you now i took the easy option with the fuse box and bought the cbs item. thought about how to do it, but then just decided to 'wong it' ive decided to run a 135amp cable down the centre for the earth instead of loads of single wires. So as ill have electrics to travel at the front and back, decided to add a Bus bar at each end to marry into.ent for a durite 4 post one. i looked into cheaper options but decided that electrical faults will be difficult to find with my ability. i got 11 colours at 30m, hopefully enough, but will need more black i imagine. battery through bulkhead to mounted busbar. busbar mounting point. closr to the fuse board rear busbar in front of gearbox then just a little wiring (temporary for iva) then the 'FINAL SOLOUTION' will be in place

Hi Mate,
Looks like it wont be long and that engine will be fired up. Well looking forward to that bit. If you can, let me know what wires you got left. My crazy lotus plan may need some wiring. How long left then?

right, james did some bits I asked him to, whilst I was away because time is dragging a little. the plenum was mounted and the charger rebuilt after powder. im unhappy with the shot which is evident inside the plenum so im sending it off to be ultrasonic cleaned. don't want that stuff in the head. but you will get the idea.. today, I did some bits, in no particular order.. I fitted the steering cowl, this now shows how much of the column bracket I removed to move my position forwards.. look at the top of the accelerator (blue) you can see the clevice I made for the cable to run through..
