Good point, your pictures will get you quizzed by Vosa, as you will be classed as a pro build car, unless you prove otherwise. My first car was done in a workshop. I had to convince the Vosa guy that I wasn't a pro builder, attempting to put it through an amateur class. Tbh, they don't like anyone building more than 300 a year( pro build limits), and you need to prove this. Should be easy enough.

Lol. That's what happens when you submit pictures, but, the test is apparently no different, but 199 instead of 450. They expect less errors for a pro built car. Pro built definition is that you are building and selling for money. Kind of loose really. I wanted to use RTR service, but, if I iva the car myself, then I get to drive it first and test the gearbox control. If there's any problems I can sort them myself, I'd hate to loose my test payment if there's an issue. I'd like some miles on it myself, and driving to chadderton Vosa will put me 80 miles plus round trip on the car. Plus, I may ahem book it in for an mot first ( not that it will get a cert etc) but it ticks the boxes for use on a public road. Unregistered untaxed vehicle can be driven with insurance to and from Vosa approved mot station for the purposes of proving roadworthy condition MOT? It's how we used to register jap imports with our garage. MOT on the chassis number etc. however, you don't want an mot on the database, so it may be just emissions, brakes, and headlights;) Drove from merseyside to Nottingham twice for iva on a skyline a few years back. No plates etc. fully legal. Also, my Robin Hood s7 went 4 times for iva, one test, one retest, and others I missed my slot because of traffic/overheating. Lessons learnt, and problems overcome is done about 140 odd miles on an un-registered car lol.

Love that blue colour, awesome it's a good contrast. Careful with the torque setting with the wheel nuts, they're good, but you have to watch stripping them.

Yes john, replied mare.
Well, the down side to building my car in someone else unit, is when they dissapear, you can't get to your own car to work, seeing as I work away through the week, I've got sweet FA done. And im sulking about it, I forgot to bring the thermostat housing home to clean up.

I know the feeling bud, can't get much time myself, I go out to the garage the odd night at 9 ish for an hour, then up for work at 6am, gone are the days of full days spent under the bonnet.
Weekends are full of family stuff, so can't get near it then, and due to kids being asleep, and proximity to my garage, I can only grind metal at certain times, which is usually once a week tbh. I need to book a week off, I'd finish it in 5 days lol.

I thought that at xmas, but there were so many delays with parts and messing about. I need the engine as a big motivator, then I can plumb it and start locating stuff
