all the same steve, source the LUK item as its exactly the same unit that comes in a ford box but with LUK on it. same item on ALL MTX units buddy

Cheers, Im going to use the stock bearing that I have bud. Spoke to an RS expert today, and he although there are two models of bearing, he thinks it will be okay. Nobody seems to know the exact differences between the two units. Another source ran the registration from a focus rs, and came back with an LUK as a direct fir throughout the range. Now, I just need to track down the adapter for the fluid inlet. thanks for your help. !

ok, after the issues with the brake radial mount brackets i ended up getting some handmade. very nice, with minimal tolerences not like the tat from RD.

Paul When you said the wife had put a block on you buying my wheels i think your doing well to get to page 12 of your build and she's still living with you!!, if your wanting some cheap rubber for those 17" rims iv'e a couple of toyo TR1s with i would estimate at least 2k miles left on them at £30 for the pair there 215/45/17 so they would go on the rear. regards John.

well emma went over and picked up the powdercoat sample up yesterday. not seen it in the flesh as im working, but its much lighter than i was hoping.. not very lazer black... cherry.. the flake seems nice.. i know its meant to be a little like a flip colour in the light, but im undecided. your thoughts??

I'd of thought lazer black would have looked darker than that paul, there's a definate red tint to it

so did i mate, its obviously.. Lazer...Black cherry makes sense now, but its paid for so its going on it. going to see if they can darken it with lacquer or something though
