Apparently so. Unfortunately a case of "unintentional modification". Frame = chassis, so frame damage = write off. That was me disposing of the majority of the frame/chassis a couple of days ago. Had fun persuading the metal recycling place that it was in fact a car for the paperwork side of things though.

I feel sick seeing a rocket like that. Don't suppose you noticed how corroded the inside of the chasis was ? Always been a tad concerned about it as I never sprayed any waxoil on mine.

There was a fair bit of rust inside in places, so waxoiling inside is a good idea - especially since there may be loose bits of metal inside after drilling/riveting etc. Would depend on how much you use it in the wet, and how you store it though I guess?

you need to waxoil I put som in all the hols that i drelld 5 cans in toltol
