i know they are the 4.8mm large heads in the build guide, but what length? i was about to order 12mm, thinking 2mm ally, 2mm steel wall, leaving 8mm to distort and grip. What did you use and did they all hold ok? does the floor vibrate? did anyone use sealant too?
i put this here as it could be of interest to all vehicles, incase anyone else is thinking it.

The rivets are all supplied with the kit, as are the p clips for the brake lines and the brake pipe also, as is the nuts bolts etc for the chassis. Steve

I didn't get any with my kit either, I think you only get them with the "Kit in a box" option. I would get considerably more than stated in the build guide as you use them everywhere especially the smaller size ones. I got a box of 250 5mm rivets and 250 of the 3.5 ones. Almost finished the big ones, not far off finishing the smaller ones as well.

Its down to individual choice, but i personally use my memfast tool instead of rivets in areas where i might have to remove the panels again.

I have used pop rivets for the non removable items, such as the floor panel, then a mixture of riv-nuts and I have even manually tapped several thread holes into the chassis...

I didn't get rivets with my kit either. As above, I think that's just the kit in a box option.
As it happens, I asked RTR this question at the Detling show recently and was told to just get the standard length. I've now got a pack of 250 x 16mm long rivets (5mm size). They gave me the impression that extra length doesn't matter, although I reckon 12mm would be ok too.
As for sealant, I'd say no. RTR mentioned that they no longer put edge trim around the floor edge as it helps water get out, which suggests to me that you don't want to use sealant either.
I'll also use my Memfast rivnut tool for panels that I think might be removed, but will use rivets on the floor.
Hope this helps, Steve

I have only used rivnuts on brackets that I have had to manufacture, For panels and bulkheads I have used 3.5 mm self tapping s/s screws And to be honest they work a treat. The biggest rivnut I would advise using On any part of the chassis any way would be M4. I was just a bit wary of Drilling loads of 6/7 mm holes all over the chassis for the rivnuts to fit into.
Box of 500 screws relatively cheap from shop4fasteners. I have used loads so far For various bits of the build.
