I would imagine that the build details come with my kit on delivery, does anyone know if its possible to get copies now to have a bit of a geek up and look for problems I may encounter and try preempt them, also look at bolt finishes and numbers required?and any other points I may find Or shall I just phone RTR?
Cheers, Paul

Cancel that, found it in tech. Is that the complete build book? 60 pages?

Cancel that, found it in tech. Is that the complete build book? 60 pages? Is that a - "Do I have to read ALL 60 pages" Or a "What ONLY 60 pages" Question?

Just like the kit, the buildguide is not a complete boxed set. The build guide is exactly that, a guide. It allows all of us builders to apply our own touch and imagination. I found the guide gave me 80% of what I needed (Engine goes in the back, wheels on each corner...), the other 20% (and clarification of the 80%) was via this forum. Once you get into it, the buildguide and this forum (including everyone's build diaries) provides everything you need. Happy building.

I agree with avantkiwi... the build guides need to be used + this forum + some research (google!) + lashings of head scratching! Personally, I quite enjoyed the challenge - if I wanted a simple bolt together no thought required 'Meccano' set, well, I would have looked elsewhere! Happy head scratching! Ol

Oh, I totally agree, I have done a lot of project stuff in the past, and sorted, modified and manufactured a lot of stuff after staring at it with a cup of tea in one hand and a pair of verniers in the other. Like I said, I just wasn't sure what to expect, I can't wait, especially now I also have the supercharger conundrum with space issue.lol

The first rule to tackling any mind bending problem is to first, make a brew - then sit back and weigh up the job!!
