First race was a DNF due to the incident. Before then I was having a really good play with Dangerous Brian (he ended up winning the Mk1 race). We didn't make the start to the second race as we were still finishing the repairs, but got out for 5-6 laps so got a 3rd place then  |

Would have been easier to swallow if we were actually racing, but the Mk1s were invitationals so weren't racing, only using it as an extended practice session.. no points up for grabs  |

How frustrating that must of been  he was "defending" his position but clearly holding you up, did he tag you on the corner? Think the guy needs a talking to  Don't think I am cut out for racing I would have been swearing like a trooper  Hope you enjoyed the circuit, I love it. I am due out again on Tuesday next week with the circuit club but my injuries from last time have not healed up enough to go out yet  Nice clear footage, what's the camera setup your using ? |

It was very frustrating. I did mention it to Blakey, he might say something at the next drivers briefing but not holding much hope. I've watched the qualifying footage as well and he was doing the same. Guess you always get some guys like that. The circuit was very nice, just needed more laps out on track. Not doing a track before and jumping straight into qualifying is quite hard, but the budget (and annual leave) doesn't allow us to stretch to the Friday test day as well. I did find by the end of the day I was at least 5 seconds a lap quicker, and that was only doing 20 odd laps. I've got a GoPro HD with the fixed mount. You can just about see it in the rear view mirror |
