Hi Paul.
Wheels look a cracking buy, iv'e a load of bags of tie wraps so will drop you a couple of bags in when i next pass if you like.
Are you using the rally dezign uprights?, as iv'e just replaced a wheel bearing on mine and instead of trying to pack the nut back to the split pin iv'e fitted a nylock nut which was a lot easier, hardest part was finding a nut as it's a unf thread but i have a Ripon farm services shop just down the road that keeps them, i'll get you a couple if you need them.

ok, so i had a lapse and bought this....

yes john im fitting the rally designs kit so some nylocs would be greak, spoke to leighton yesterday and hes going to confirm build date as its looking sooner than planned..
im very excited

ok, been collecting some more parts over the week or so.

my new wheels, not a kerb mark on them, just poorly painted, but the blaster and powder will sort that out, simples


I was going to use the focus ones but couldnt resist.


im hoping that this gives downforce and not just looks. im thinking i may encounter understeer.

i have just had a bit of a tot up on donor car.
bought from auction and a bit over priced after auction fees.
915 paid. not including ebay fees im now down to £318 and i still have a fair few bits left to go so im happy.
focus rear brake calipers and mounts will be available too as i have the hi specs now

haha not bad for 22.50, i didnt have the heart to take the 2.50 off of him for my change from 25..lol
im looking at kuhmo Ecsta SPT KU31 at the moment, but could change, i need to contact wolfrace for some centrcaps for the wheels.
the kit is ready now, but i cant get to pay it or collect it for a week or so, so im not best impressed.
i despise my work getting in the way.

haha, emma was well confused, i have been away for a few weeks working, collecting sunday hopefully. i cant bloody wait, but i have a lot of work to do sunday, welders booked and dry engine fit should happen. you fancy popping over to wakey mate??

sorry Paul just haven't got time at the moment , busy back and forward to manchester with that company i mentioned who took me for a chunk of money and rocket been off road with problems with steering rack, out of interest have you decided which route you are taking with lubricating your bushes?.

im going to be drawing this thread to a close, sort of now.
At last im collecting my kit on sunday, so i will start a build diary and link this to it.
but i best show a final bit of bling before i do that.
another over excessive spend before the kit came, but i couldnt help it, i blame ollie 100%
