I am considering building a Sonic or Rocket as a track only car ( I want two seats and four wheels so not Atomic or TR1ke). I would like to know how you all find the handling, on track, with all that weight high up at the back. How stable is it when braking hard with such a rearward weight distribution. I like the variety of tuning options with Ford power for the Sonic/Rocket or should I wait to see the Mevabusa. I used to have a R1 engined track car and enjoyed its lightweight and cornering speeds but getting it through noise tests (100db at 9000rpm) was difficult and expensive. Thanks for feedback

I have raced karts for over 15 years represented northern Ireland in the 5 nations kart champs and also won at the lemans 24 hr kart race. I can honestly say that the my rocket handles just like a kart. It turns in on the nose and the back end doesn't step out. I can honestly say that it is on rails.
If you want a bit of fun you can make the back end step out but can easily get it back.
