I'm trying to decide whether to go with a basic new 2.0 Zetec from www.kitpartsdirect.com/ or go with an Omex engine. I've bought an Omex ECU, Omex Loom, Lambda sensor from RTR along with their manifold, decat pipe and full exhaust. I could sell the Omex parts or see if Omex could reduce the cost of one of their packages for the parts they sell. But I'd like to know what performance figures the following might add so I can try and decide which engine to order: Omex ECU De-cat RTR 4-2-1 manifold RTR Exhaust Kent Fast road Cam to be fitted after IVA and driving for a while (would also be sold if Omex engine had cams) JB

I went for the standard 2.0 litre engine and bought the Omex ecu and loom. I also bought the RTR s/s manifold and cat and fitted a K&N filter.
I have been informed that the 2.0 litre engine kicks out about 135 BHP, and that the Omex ecu comes pre-programmed to up that To 150 bhp, therefore I'm hoping that with the manifold and cat from RTR and the K&N filter to hit around 160.
Which for around £2000 for all the kit ain't too bad. Looking at a turbo for next years upgrade.
