Has anyone fitted one? I wondered if it made more sense to have one fitted allowing easier filling of the coolant without having to remove the nosecone which for me is a big john due to removing gauges.
Any thoughts?

That would be a good reason to make connectors on your gauges. You are in need for easy acces to your brake fluid pod as well, or move this to an other location.
good point.

I mounted a extra bottle at the rear. Also placed it so that when the tank is filled half, the cooling system is filled completely. I did it because of easy filling and checking of coolant level.

Are you having cooling issues, take a look at the header tank and expansion tank use in the cbsonline catalog, its ideal for bike engine cars,I'm not quite at the stage to try mine yet but i have got the kit to fit to mine, its about £50 It comes with a replacement cap for the rad without a pressure release, the header will feed from the highest point which is the small pipe on the thermostat, and returns to the main 25mm pipe going into the engine near the front sprocket. it also shows how to incorporate an expansion tank as well.
like i said I've not tried it yet but it should work ...I hope

Cheers. I've just modified a filler neck from a CBR600. Will be fine.
