Hi guys, can't find anything that gives a definite answer for the specific trackrod end for the RD alloy uprights. I have got sierra and focus types but they won't fit into the insert! Please any thoughts or advice. Regards Mark.

Hi Mark, I also have the rally alloy design uprights and I have used RS2000 track rod ends, available from RD. In the picture below the track rod end is partially covered with a plastic cover. www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=7332There should be a stainless insert that goes in the steering arm on the alloy upright that adapts the hole to accept the track rod end. This adds the taper to what is a non-tapered hole that receives the track rod end. This is part of the alloy upright kit. In the picture above, this looks like a large silver washer between the track rod end and the steering bar on the alloy upright. Remember, when changing the track rod ends in future that the stainless insert needs pulling off the old track rod end and moving to the new one. Regards Daydreamer

Hi Daydreamer, much appreciated, I was concerned that the trackrod ends that I tried weren't going all the way through the tapered insert, hence the post. Good news, I will now source some RS2000 ends.! cheers for now Mark.
