Hi all just started on the braking system and connecting the reservoir to the master cylinder.
Have been looking at build photos across the forum and can see some have used cotton overbraided hose.
Does the pipe not need to have specification markings on as in the case of the fuel pipes?
Have been on CBS and they sell rubber hose with specs. printed on and a letter of conformity.
I am using banjo bolts and ridged adaptors for pushing on the pipe with jubilee clips to fix.
Just need a bit of a nudge of the best way forward please.

When I built the sonic I used the cotton overbraided hose and had no problems with the IVA.

When you order the braided hose, like most have, you just have to ask for the data sheet for the hose. They are quite happy to send you a copy.
Also when you get the fuel hose from the tank to the filler, you can ask for the data sheet for that as well.
The same applies for the fuel hose from the tank to the engine, unless it's marked on the hose you will need a data sheet.
If you have a look at my build you will get a rough Idea on how it all goes together. I basically did the same when I reached that stage.

Right thankyou for your inputs.
I have now sourced some black cotton overbraided reservoir
hose 7.5mm from Motorsport Tools.com it has specs printed on
and they have supplied conformance documents with it.
I have scrapped the second hand fuel filler pipe and replaced
with new 2" from Dax Sports again with conformance documents.
