Afternoon chaps,
Just a heads up of things to check prior to MSVA based on some of my failure sheet.
These points maybe wrong, I appologise if I am incorrect.
1: Make sure seats are sat almost on the floor, or make sure your rear upper seatbelt holes allow the seat belt to flow through instead of pull up into the access hole.
2: My headlights were the main failure point, make sure yours produce a flat dip beam (Mine produced a spot beam for dip and full)
3: Tie all cables up and away, trunk in the split conduit flex if possible.
4: Make sure Nyloc nuts are used on wishbone bolts etc, and make sure anything require a secure fastening bolt wise has either a spring or loose shake washer.
5: Make sure brake pipes are clipped at equal spacing, I think it might be every 6 inches.
6: Make sure no sharp edges are within touch for you, or on the front of the vehicle.
7: Make sure indicators are either mounted high enough to be seen from the side, or preferably fit side mounted indicators with a view to being seen coming out of a side street (I have ordered some LED strips to mount on my mirrors when I get it back)
That's it for now, will know more when I have it back to give a better idea, but thankfully mine did not have any major failure issues.

I thought this vehicle wasn't in need for sidelights! Thx for the list!

You will either need side looking indicators, or your indicators will have to be visible from the side of the vehicle, mine were mounted under my headlights, and as such were out of sight from the side. Saftey reason and a valid one once pointed out.

Just double checked... we need no sidelights in the Netherlands but because I am planning to offer my Tr1ke to RTR for MSVA I'll add them on the vehicle.
thx!

I am talking about Side fitted indicators, not side lights, with a view to being seen from a side street, if you look at my pictures of my front end, you can see the headlights, under the headlights are my super bright but hidden indicators, therefore from the side view, if I am pulling out from a side street, you cannot see me indicating

Oops, I meant indicators, not sidelights! Well that cancelles out the Standard wing and Bevel wing and leaves only the Aero wing and Aeromax wings to place indicators on the sides. Are there other locations which are okay?

I don't really know, best contact RTR, however I have bought a pair of stick on LED strip indicators to mount under my Mirrors on the bodywork, they will work alongside my front indicator loom, and should provide ample visibility to people approaching from the side.
