I've had my rear wheel bearings pressed in and the near side is fine but the off side had loads of play in it.
Anybody know if I can press these in myself and how or should I take them to a local garage to get them done properly ?
thanks Jon

I think most people have this problem, I did.
By the time you attach it to the frame, then put the wheel on the hub and eventually put in the drive shaft and torque it up it all becomes snug.

Ditto to Ned. There are many threads of this occuring. I remember 1 of mine needed to be pressed, but the other could be dropped in. Suggest that unless your definition of "Loads of play" means you would need to shim it, you should wait and see how it pulls up once everything is fitted.

I had a similar problem and blamed the supplier for supplying inferior bearings till I torqued up the driveshafts. Problem solved and had to apologise with my tail between my legs.
