Well I'm almost there. Taken me a long time and many hours of figuring things out but I've fitted a Honda motor to my Sonic. Hopefully I'll be able to start it in about two weeks time. After that its electrics and body to be fitted. I plan to take it out to bed it in before I fit the body though.

I'll post some pics soon. I have fitted what we call a Frankenstein engine. Its a B20B (2lt) bottom end with a V-Tek head and Toyota 20v throttle bodies and a V-Tek gearbox. Using a Dictator management system.

The Honda engine runs anti-clockwise so it sits on the opposite side to the driver which is better for weight distribution. All the engine mounts had to be changed on the chassis though. When I have worked out how to post pics on this damb thing you'll see them. My knowledge of computers is limited so Bill Gates is slightly ahead of me.

Should start the engine soon. I'll post some pics just before I start fitting the body so I can show how it was all done.

I did not have a donor car so I had to mix & match where I could. It works out expensive to do it that way thugh so I would not recommend that.
