Here they are without use of flashlight. These look closer to the real colors. I haven't had a chance to make a pis in daylight but the antraxite turned out to be very close to gun metallic! yesterday I spend all evening admiring the body. but got in doubt if the yellow could have been silver metallic instead. I guess both will look impressive from rearview mirror perspective I may have to add some decals for hooligan's sake I think a similar racing number like the Duc shown below would make it look faster (or something like Herbie LOL!!). Need to find some nylon tape to protect for in between the body and chasis to protect the powder coat. yesterday the rear tire arrived. hope to send the rear wheel for turning+polishing tomorrow and start building the rear section soon. Just got me M14 spring washers for the front wheel connection. I may have some time to get me brake lines as well.

Hi Eric....looking at the pic with fender next to the bonnet, because your chassis and wishbones are red... have you considered anthracite for the fenders or would that be too much anthracite Cheers Kevin

I have seen black mudguards, wheels and tires on the Demo tR1ke and didn't liked the over all dark color choice of this significant part of the kit. I rather have the polished+black+red+anthraxite matched to the wheel section as it is now, similar as with the chasis but kinda in a different setting.
mixing te colors wasn't easy. Too bad the pics really don't show the real life depth of these colors.
Yeah, anthraxite/gun metal with yellow looks pretty cool, but this doesn't match quite perfectly with the chasis. I think the yellow should be repainted to make it spot on. thinking about math silver metallic which has a similar look like the silver leather on my seats.

i'm sure the colour scheme is exactly right as is the rest of your build, besides we will see you in Spring next year and we will hopefully see it almost ready to rock :-)
We should have a good gathering, and may be able to convince one of the UK's KitCar magazine Journalist's to join us in his own TR1KE, that way we would have a massive photo opportunity to maximise the TR1KE culture for the UK and Europe.
What do you reckon?

Thx for the compliment! Having build rc-jets for many years tought me one basic rule: if I don't like it, it is worthless to me. Same thing with the yellow right now. I feel this is a mistake which needs to be corrected and it is very likely I will send it back to the painter monday. Too bad it will add costs but a big smile is priceless Spring? I think the hardware mounting can be finished in 2012. Basically the swingarm, tires ,brakes and tanks need to be mounted. Some hosing and wiring and tweaking and that's it . Not sure where it will be located when finished before freighting to UK. Could be on display LOL!! I think it would be awesome if you all can pay a visit next year, but keep in mind we are known for using salt on iced roads up to April. I recon this is likewise in the UK as wel, which basically shows the timeline to finish my project because I will not drive my bikes or tR1ke on salted roads. If you pick a date we will meet! Yesterday I coupled the wheels to the steering column. I had to weld a bolt on the linkage to cancel out the slob. Too bad I have to use a headless bolt because the head will hit the clutch pedal. I hope this isn't a critical detail to fail MSVA because this isn't life threathening when the bolt gets lost. Today I went shopping for the hydrolic parts which I plan to build soon. I was in dobt to take a breather tank with me but I want to look into the hose connecting locations first. I may get one next week. Dropped the rear wheel at a rim-doctor to turn off the lips. After placing the hydrolics i plan building the swingarm which will bring the tR1ke to it's max dimensions! br! Erik ps: which pressure is needed in the tires (bar)

I have 1,8 bar in all three tires. Works fine for me, but if I'm correct, the demo tr1ke has 1,5 in the rear. So, it depends on the tire I think...
