Hello all, I’ve spent some time working on a 1:1 digital model of the Rocket, mainly for my own training purposes and as it’s pretty much complete for what I need I thought I’d post some renders on the forum. The throttle pedal, gearlever assembly, seat brackets and the rear upright component models are the same data as used for manufacturing and most of the other parts have been designed accurately enough to enable test modifications, suspension simulation, etc. Should be good to experiment with colour combinations too… I’m still getting to grips with rendering and it takes a while to do on my outdated PC but with some selected backdrops it should be possible to make some interesting desktop images. Hope you like it……

Hi Joker,
That looks excellent, must have taken some time ;D
I used to do a lot of 3D modelling using ProE and Inventor, I remember the rendering taking some time even on a high end workstation.
Great ;D ;D
Regards Jim

HI Joker,
Excellent work! I got as far as modelling the front end of the car - only because I plan on doing dome CAE work on the air flow through the rad/vents etc... I must crack on with that this weekend... and get the results uploaded soon!
Cheers,
Ol

You have missed off the upgrade suspension brace from the lower front bones. This is important, we sent them out but only Matt seems to have bothered to fit it.

Good work Joker I spent some time a draughtsman about a million years ago and I can see I am miles and miles out of date. those files look great. Stuart has posted a bit about the brace. Not sure why he is mentioning it now. I fitted mine a while ago... Any way, good work with those pictures. Are your hands really like that? mattsmev

Thanks for the positive comments I'm still trying to get the original CAD data for the Zetec engine; it would be nice to finish it off. Stuart, I have the brace fitted to my car (slightly modified) but haven't bothered with it on the model....there's no steering rack either ;D I've tried to post some pictures on your thread but it's locked? Anyway, here they are....
