There are two key things to remember when using the search facility on the forum:- Duration – Posted within the last xxx days this is defaulted to the last 10 days however you may wish to amend this period dependent upon what you are seeking. and, That in order to search the Technical section you must first login and enter the Technical section using the Owners Password. the Management

I have a question about searching things on the forum.
When you search the forum it bring up posts that contain the keywords you used to search. Some of those posts are >40 pages long. It does not narrow down where the keywords are used.
Is there anyway to find the pages that relate to keywords from a forum search?
I'm having a couple body fitment issues that I know others have had but I'm having a hell of a time finding posts on it.

Ok at the bottom there's a bit that says "how to search " if you select "posts" you get all the matching posts in a series of pages. If you select "threads" then you get all the threads that have matching posts, but no indication of where the match is.

Much like searching the net, searching the forum is an art rather than a science.
Searching by posts is most specific;click the link to the thread title and you should see the post in context.
Use the other options on the search page to refine what you're looking for. Is it in, or likely to be in, a specific board or thread? Can you remember who posted it or when?

Lastly I use my browser search function (ctrl+f on most PCs, cmd +f on the Mac, or for smart phone users type in the address bar and select find on page ymmv) to highlight a keyword on the page I'm looking at.

Btw tapatalk app has a useful search function but for serious searching it has to be the desktop site.

if it helps, you can of course type in your initial thread-search, "cut" it, and then "paste" the same search in to each thread you open to search within each thread without too much extra effort.
