That's what I think it is, I'm on the lookout for a piece of rubber tubing to fit in ther with an M8 bolt.

Dont think that Jokers pedal will hit that unless you space the pedal way out to the offside, are you fitting one of his pedals? They may have changed the position on the chassis since my car but it looks kinda the same......

Scottie
I have one of Jockers pedals and yes I had to space it out slightly due to the angle of the small cross member, but the pedal now hits this thing directly in the middle that's why I thought it was a accelerator pedal stop and by the sounds of it so does Mark.

Hmmmmmmmm didnt think the joker pedal would have the travel to get near that, we ended up with an adjustable bolt from the bulkhead, The bracket was originally fitted to mount the mickey mouse pedal that was supplied on...it may however be as a pedal stop but looks a bit too substantial for that.

My thoughts exactly, but since it's there I will use it as a stop. There are a couple of other builds that use it as a stop aswell, I think mabbs does.

Hello all, The bracket on the chassis is intended to be the pivot for your own pedal, I used it as a location for the pedal stop on my pedal design. The rear of the pedal arm has a small extension that should line-up with the centre of this bracket and your own pedal stop (depending where you mount the pedal itself). I machined an aluminium bobbin with a rubber sleeve over the top for my stop and it works fine.

i chopped the innermost branch off and left the outside part of the bracket on... i figure it will help mount a box over the pedals for iva.. or maybe just some sort of guard instead.
