I am using rally design front uprights and powerlight calipers but when assembled my discs are not in the centre of the calipers. Which is the best way to correct this, space out the back hub bearing with washers on the stub axle or space out the stub axle from the upright. Any one suggest the best method. Thanks.

I had a slight misalignment with the passenger side, so put one of the supplied spacers on the stub axle, just needed the one now it's perfect.
Also the Rally design brake discs seemed to bind slightly with the caliper so used some M10 washers between the caliper and the bracket just to move it out a millimetre or so, worked at treat.

Hi, I had the same problems with my sonic and i am now having problems with the wing stays. problem 1 they touch the wheels, problem 2 because the alloy uprights are not upright ie they tilt backwards if i fit the wings as it is, the rear part of the bracket would about 4 inches from the rear of the wing and the front one would be about 10 inches the front of the wing and it just looks so wrong, have any of you 2 got the same problem.

Need some pictures of your problem just to clarify it. Take a look at my build thread I have some pictures of the front set up, let me know if yours is different as I don't have my wheels on yet.

Try to measure / work out the misalignment and then use a gear / hub puller to remove the hub and then the bearing, fit a suitable spacer or washer.

Been and bought a set of gear pullers today from Machine Mart. Took me lo get to put the pullers together than it did to remove the hub so thanks for the advice Need to get the bearing off the shaft now but hopefully that won't cause a problem. What I have discovered though is that I don't have anything suitable to space it out with. Anybody got any suggestions what I could use ?

Have a look in the technical section, RTR have revised the Rally Design upright build manual - now showing the shim that should be fitted.
