Well I've finally got round to ordering my Sonic today Warned the Mrs that I will be disappearing into the garage for large amounts of time. Should have it just before xmas so I can start on it while I have some time off. Not really sure how much I will get done in a week so what parts will I need to have bought for when the car arrives ? Can't wait to stop window shopping and actually spend some cash.

Tools....Good rivet gun, good socket set, spanners, drills, dremel. You will need lots of WD40 and Allenkey/Star sockets for stripping the donor. Small grinder (or cutting disc for dremel) also comes in handy.
One of the first tasks after the floor will be running the brake lines. Copper pipe, cutters, bending tool and various ends (depending on your config.
Lots of additional info in the tech section...
Welcome to the Sonic club.

Hi jon exciting times and some head scratching to look forward to.What colour and what engine are you going for? Planning on a new 2.0 Zetec with an Omex ECU. I really like the silver and black on the demo car but planning on doing a bit of photoshopping to see what other colours go with the silver.
