Delighted to report that Jonathon Blake has qualified 2nd place on the grid and is only one second behind the fastest lap which was driven in a very powerful jap tin top. I will post race results as soon as he emails me. It is raining but he does like the spray his Exocet kicks up behind him! Good luck my friend.

After a terrific battle the top hose blew on the Exocet and put Jonathon out of the race despite recording the fastest lap in class, clearly a minor mechanical set back cost us what could well have been 1st. With 31 on the grid it was amazing for him to get near to the top.
Roll on Snetterton for the 12 hour endurance race on 12th November.
