So with quite a few builds coming to an end in the next few mounths im trying to figure out what its going to be like to drive one! i know the acceleration is very quick!  What do you think it will be like at cornering with a bike engine whats the differenace to a car engine Anything need to be carfull off Some of you look to be taking them on the track, how will they compare to other kits |

Me too.
Motorbike accelleration. (about 4s for 0..100km/h or 60mph)
I cannot predict how handling will be. In the beginning it needs carefull driving and testing about settings of alignment, suspension etc.

I sure want to test it on track. Just to see what settings are the best. When I do, I do post a video of it! But this will be not very soon, I guess...

Mine is booked in for its MSVA on Friday, went dwon to RTR to have a look today, there are some nice little finishing touches needs some more work yet but Paul seemed confindent it should be on the road soon!
as for the handling side looking forward to seeing what its like, cornering is the bg one how it will handle if it will be easy to predict when the back end will go

After the track day at Curborough, I took a few spins out in the demo one, and it handles very well. Paul hammered it into all the corners and unlike the cars drifting round some of them, this TR1KE just sat nice, cornered no problem and accelerated so fast I got severe whiplash that day :-) It was a good pain though :-)
I fly back today from USA so will be cracking on with my beast on Monday, I had a few issues mounting the engine, so hoping that I can make it mount properly next week without too much frame mod. Sits square on the back mounts, but does not line up with side mounts, not sure whether to take some of the side brackets out on the holes, or mount the engine up on these if they mount square and then open up the rear brackets instead. All will be revealed when its set in the middle of my garage :-)
