So space in my garage is pretty limited, my MNR required a very funky expensive tilting scissor lift in order to get both my car and sportscar in my garage, its not technically a double garage, its a single thats been extended to 23.5ft.
The trike I had before could be easily driven into one corner at the back and left plenty enough room for my car to come in behind.
Now the RTR Trike would require reversing in to do this, thats a big pain in the bum I reckon, so I bought one of these to move the back wheel over to the left or right of my garage once its driven in forwards.
Its quite a substantial bit of kit and mine is silver and black, soon to be Green and Black ;D
It lets you drive the vehicle to where you want it, then you position this dolly front and back of the rear wheel, tighten the vale (Just like a car jack) Pump the handle and it squeezes the bars in and lifts the wheel off the floor :-)
Then just move left or right, this will allow the trike to axis on the steering and you get a very neat, cheap alternative to a post ramp or scissor lift. Cost me £68 delivered and was here the next day. I will post before and after pics tomorrow night so you can see how it works.
