Stig, are plans available yet for the "mark 2"? It looks a good bit more buildable for us ordinary mortals. I'm also guessing those ain't quad bike wishbones.....and why the dual wheel set up at the rear?

Hi Andy, the plan set has fabrication drawings that will allow you to build as is or modify to suit. A sample is attached. You can see that whether you use sqaure or round tube you can still follow the plans. The twin rear wheel was to allow for extra traction to be put down with a specially made drag motor. Normal use will be better with a single wheel and is far easier to build using a swing arm from a kids off road motorbike. You can send £50 via paypal to our account which is named info@mevltd.co.uk and I can send you a pdf if you fancy building one. Regards Stiggy Attachments:

Hi, stig.
already had the plan set, a tad limited by tube-bending availability! What I wasn't so sure about was whether there was any dimensional change as a result of the beefier front wishbones.
Of which I'm all in favour, btw. I was planning on a two seater variant, so the idea of more substantial wishbones carrying meatier tyres and brakes looks pretty good to me.
It begs a thought, too. A few have commented they'd rather see a steering wheel arrangement, as opposed to the handlebars (easier to contain in bodywork, too). It looks to me that with some judicious adjustment to the steering arm length, and assuming that the MkII uses "proper" uprights, integrating something like the rack from an old Imp should be easy. That rack was built with the pick up points for the steering arms right in the middle, so should avoid bump-steer, etc.
Seriously, this has the potential to make a really good business proposition as a commuter vehicle. How do you or anyone feel about a "Dragons' Den" pitch, to get development funds?

I reckon everyone in the world should have one. So apply now for your grant. Take a look at the Fiat Cincequento rack. It is ideal for a centre steer car.

guess what sits on my driveway as a station hack...
Seriously, back to those wishbones - I guess they're from something else in the MEV range - would you be willing to sell a set separately from the rest of the chassis?

I got the new bones/hubs/shocks/drum brakes as a set for £200. I have one set left if you would like it. They are off a smaller quad. Just send say £225 to cover post if you would like them.

Hello, I have started my build but I’m making it a little larger as I feel that on the road the E trike is just a little bit too small. (If you know what I mean.) Below is a link to the body that I intend to fit. It’s only a drawing at this stage, but it looks better than the new body on the e trike seen at Exeter. (I have been reminded that it looks like a dolphin stroller you get at Sea World! ) i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp47/jjs_040/Eco%20Car/one.jpgAny views greatly received.
