Hi my name is Graham and I want to build an Exocet. There, I've said it! Just on the look out for a suitable donor now. As I'm based on the Isle of Man ebay is not a great place to buy a SORn or write off from as it costs a fortune to get a vehicle and trailer on the ferry.

Hi Jeff, Yes I'm thinking about that or buying a runner over here. I don't think there are any import duties if I bring it in from the UK (not sure about Ireland). there are a few runners about here but all seem to be expensive. Still no rush.

Traa Dy Liooar indeed , i bought in ireland as import duty (VRT) was very expensive . Mine was a Mk1 at just over 1000 sterling , will get some back selling the bodywork etc . i am collecting my kit monday , hiring a van to sail over for it is costing small fortune but hey ho we do these things , time to go back into shed to get 'chassis' ready , most of kit will live in dining room , i have found MEV great to deal with and putting up with my silly questions .
