Hi All, Fairly new to forums so bare with me! Seen a few builds on the go on here, great to see!! Ours is under way, and enjoying every minute!! Haven't finished the first one yet, and have just bought a second 1.8 Eunos on the bay this evening, oooops........ looks like i may have to order another kit... We are intending on using the cars for personal and corporate trackdays for race tuition to replace our Ginetta's. Also looking at running a couple of cars next year in the championship perhaps?? Ideal tool for the job! I will try my best to upload some build pics for all to see! Cheers, Matt

look forward to seeing more pics. this is exactly the spec id go for. interesting you seem to have a roll bar brace-bar
i take it you have already driven one - hows the acceleration/handling compared to mx5?

I will let you know once i have finished this one, you cant go wrong with 2/3 weight of an MX5, the original cars handling characteristics although stiffer, more responsive, bigger grin and no hairdresser comments.... The race car looked great at Combe last week, MEV are doing a great job! Mine should be finished this week if i can clear some workshop time, pics to follow! I may well put mine up for sale as a road car and build 2 new race versions, i only really need them for circuit use.

really nice work, makes sense that you would incorporate the new roll cage/floors - diy? prefer the welded/gusseted straighter rear stays on the track car, but hey, looks good enough to me.
look forward to the driving review once its set up.
read in the past that sus shouldn't be lower than -50mm to preserve handling. i suspect that is when lower wishbone is horizontal (on front not sure about back).... thats roughly how my mx5 is on koni sports. lower than i wanted really, but thats another story...
only thing id change is rear lights......don't know what for tho

can you post some more pictures once the cage has been painted with some distant shots so you can see the full car please, as this is definitely the option i will be going with, can anyone see any issues which may arise with the IVA test with the cage fitted?
