More details tomorrow. But here she is! Engine back after 5 months at the engine builder. big thanks to Andy at momentum motorsport. Head skimmed, ported and polished By ex Williams F1 employee. Larger inlet valves and exhaust valves. Exhaust manifold and throttle body manifold ported and matched to engine. Crank polished and balanced. Flywheel lightened and balanced. Block decked and honed. Race cams fitted (fast road cams will be posted in the for sale section soon!). Custom valve shims. Uprated pistons and con rods. Arp bolts all round. Baffled sump. Fast road clutch. Tomorrow I have to fit the updated IB5 box. Once in the car I have 1500 mile run in period limited to 4000rpm. With about 5 oil and filter changes! The first two oil changes are before the car even turns a wheel! In fact the first oil and filter change is after turning the engine over on the starter! Some pics....    Before:-  After:-  |
