Look what Santa left under the RTR Xmas tree for me yesterday.... Many thanks to Paul and the RTR team for the IVA work. After sorting my insurance, I managed to clock up 230 miles of fun ;D ;D on my trip home. It is only 100 miles to my house from RTR, but I just had to keep driving....Roundabouts and traffic lights will never be the same again.

Have now managed to get the car back to pre-IVA build. Indicator stalks at a reasonable length, side lights back under the main lights and I now have the front wings on. Have now managed 300 miles, still some shakedown things being found, but believe most things should now be settled. All ready for the " Bring em home". Cannot wait...

Hi Avantkiwi,
As you have your battery in the front, what size cable did you run back to the engine bay so as no tot loose starting performance. Regards John.

Hi John,
I have the battery in the front of my Rocket. It is an Odyssey extreme battery (ER25) and no problems with starting at all.
I use 16mm - 110 amp battery cable.
Hope that helps Mark

Pic from the trackday at Bedford. I have some new rims for the track with Toyo R888 tyres, plus I have raised the roll bar.

How did the 2nd track day at Bedford go ? Did the tyres make a noticable difference ??

How do you think the roll bar will actually perform in a crash ? I look at it as more of a cosmetic item and expect it to collapse due to not having any real bracing.
