ill start by saying sorry if i posted in the wrong section wasnt sure as its about the exocet. i am looking to start my project very soon to make the most of the summer months and maybe even finnish before the weather gets to bad i currently have no mx5 but this is very soon going to change i am wanting to get a build plan together ie what and when so i have something as a guide to follow and refer to so i was wondering if it is possible to get a build manual to help me do this? it seems the manual is in the tech section but as i havnt bought the kit yet and am not planning to untill i have the ppf almost ready for it as im planning on refurbing everything down to the last nut a bolt and getting as much for the surplus as possible, i was woundering if there is a way i could get one, will help me to plan the time scale of the build in relistic terms. any help advice would be much aprishiated, i have been checking out meany of the builds currently underway on the forum wich has already helped seeing other ppl issues ie like kp's strip post cracking hub nuts before diassemble ppf/taking body off ect have to say all you guys seem to be doin a great job and many thanks to you for postin and helping out guys like me that havnt even started yet keep up the good work

if you speak to stiggy nicely i'm sure he'll help in some way. I got the kit before the build ugide was done, hence why my pics are used in it! its pretty simple kit to build, no real fabrication, mainly just bolting things together. I have absolutely no mechanical knowledge prior to starting, just a decent grasp of diy and powertools. i refurbed the mx5 first, and sold the bits while the kit was on order, it was 6-8 weeks back then. id say order the kit, as it gives you a massive push to speed things along in time for its arrival

hey thanks for reply and advice, i work in accident repair as a panel beater and paint sprayer so I'm sure i will have no problem refurbishing the parts ;D hoping to finish the hole build to the highest standard possible i just wanted to make a build plan to try and stick to making the hole build quicker and not missing anything that will hold the build up have all ready started the plan IE stripping of parts and list of parts to be painted/powdered and replaced like disc's & pads, i shall send stiggy a pm and hopefully he while help me out many thanks ash
